Head of Membership, Community & Partnerships
Full-time (with option to start out part-time), NYC-based (remote role)
We are looking for our next key hire to help supercharge our community of trailblazing women and change the world of business for the better.
We are seeking an experienced all-star community-builder, who is results-driven, thrives when facilitating mutually beneficial connections, is an entrepreneur at heart - as well as strongly believes in the power of empathy and vulnerability.
This is a high-impact very visible and senior role in which you’ll be the face of the community in many instances (both offline and online) as you help supercharge our Members’ journeys. This position will also involve the eventual managing of a team of Membership Concierges and Local Chapter Leads based in different cities around the world.

// WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE:
Connecting Members
Equally supporter, cheerleader and mastermind who proactively facilitates high-impact connections among Members through a mix of online and offline (1x1 and group) gatherings and interactions
Ongoing presence in our online forums that enables you to be an authority and thought partner to our Members
Optimization of posting guidelines to ensure best possible Member experience
Driver behind quarterly New Member on-boarding and welcoming
Facilitating Opportunities
Facilitation of synergistic partnerships that enable visibility and other high-impact opportunities for Members (this can include speaking, media opportunities and more), and will involve inbound and outbound opportunities
Gatekeeper ensuring that opportunities shared in Dreamers // Doers are of the highest quality
Amplifying Impact
Development of scalable programs and initiatives that further deepen connections and streamline online and offline interactions, including event blueprints to be replicated in other cities
Identification and tracking of metrics that measure our impact
Helping grow and scale the Dreamers // Doers team
// WHAT WILL MAKE SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?
Exceptionally high EQ and service mentality that facilitates over-delivery of Member experiences
Obsession with establishing high-impact mutually beneficial connections while executing efficiently
Self-starter who is highly organized, as well as results, metric and scale-driven
Extremely good judgement when identifying high-impact and relevant opportunities
Outstanding copy and email writing skills that are equally effective and highly emotionally-capturing
Ability to lead authentically and bring out the best in others
// WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:
Minimum 5 years of total work experience*
Minimum 2 years of extensive community, membership or related experience (online and offline)*
Experience hosting high-impact high-connection events (small and large scale)
Extensive experience creating (internal and / or external) processes and initiatives from scratch
Considerable business and entrepreneurship knowledge that you can leverage to support Members

// WE’D LOVE TO HIRE SOMEONE WITH SOME OF THESE SKILLS:
A very strong existing network within startup or corporate world
Past roles that involved team management, hiring and training
Working experience in customer service or other service-based industries
Strong familiarity with Facebook groups and other online community tools
Basic design skills and proven track record in conversion copywriting and email marketing
Background sourcing, pitching and closing partnership opportunities
Experience fundraising or securing grants or corporate sponsorships
